PSU Women's Basketball squeaks by UMass Dartmouth

Extends winning streak to seven

The PSU women's basketball team won yet again by defeating UMass Dartmouth by a score of 67-66 on Saturday, December 5 at Foley Gymnasium. The victory extended PSU's winning streak to an impressive seven games as they have now started the year out with an undefeated 7-0 record.

After much research and consideration, I've decided to make a list of the top 10 Boston Sports teams of this decade. It was hard for me to pick a spot for these teams because Boston was the centerpiece for Champions in '00's. There have been so many great teams in this decade.

The Plymouth State University Wrestling team was victorious this past weekend at the Ted Reese Invitational at the University of Southern Maine. Plymouth would have five of their wrestlers reach the final round, with another seven wrestlers placing in the tournament.

The Plymouth State Men's hockey team turned their two game winning streak into three by beating Framingham State College 4-2 on Saturday, December 5 at the Waterville Valley Arena. This victory brings the Panthers overall record to 6-1 and 3-1 in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) making the Panthers the number two seed in the conference.

Well folks, we are coming up upon the end of the decade. It's hard to believe that 10 years has already come and gone. I can remember being in the 5th grade and seeing all of the Y2K hype and the people stocking up on water and bread, a.k.a my Mom. January 1st came and there was no massive computer failure and the Earth didn't blow up.

Texas does not belong in the title game

In case you missed the Texas vs. Nebraska Big 12 Championship game this past weekend, let me recap what happened. If it were not for a Nebraska kickoff that went out of bounds in the final minutes of the game, or a horse-collar penalty called on Nebraska on Texas' final drive, or a last second 46-yard field goal that was only possible because the final second of the game was put back on the clock; Texas would have been embarrassed by a four loss team.
